What two things are long little doggies? Corgis and hotdogs! We decided to celebrate them both and create Corgdogs!
In March every year, more specifically the first Saturday of March Madness, sports fans, concert and fairgoers celebrate National Corn Dog Day. This national observance was to honor corn dogs and the March Madness that is basketball.
Corndogs started out as a sausage or hot dog baked or deep-fried in cornmeal breading and served as a sandwich. Later on, the sandwich became a convenient fair food when it was put on a stick before being deep-fried. That way fairgoers could eat their corn dog while walking around the exhibits.
Corndogs are often enjoyed with mustard or ketchup. From sports arenas to amusement parks, state fairs and concerts, Americans can get their corn dogs and not miss out on a moment of the game.
CorgDogs come in either Ketchup or Mustard or as a set!
